115th annual feast of National Shrine of Our Lady of Matara commences on Sunday

The festivities of the 115th annual Feast of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Matara will commence at 4PM on Sunday with the hoisting of the flagstaff and holy Mass.

The Vicar General of the Diocese of Galle Very Rev Fr Charles Hewawasam, Bishop of Mannar Most Rev Dr Emmanuel Fernando and the Bishop of Galle Most Rev Dr Raymond Wickremasinghe will be the Celebrants at the festivities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.The Marian Procession bearing the miraculous statue of Our Lady of Matara will take place on Saturday 10th September.
