Dinghy seized with 440 kilos of Kendu leaves

The Navy detected about 440 kg of smuggled Kendu leaves and 900 g of Kendu leaves in a dinghy during a special operation carried out in the Pitipana Lagoon area, Negombo, on Tuesday (29).

The consignment of Kendu leaves and the dinghy would be handed over to the Customs Preventive Office, Katunayake, for legal action, the Navy said.
